Another fight I was in regarded a customer. At the time, I was working at FedEx Office (formerly and commonly known as Kinkos) and he brought in several, several, several books that he wanted copied, he also wanted us to price match Wal-Mart prices on new binders despite that our binders were about 5x stronger and a better brand that wouldn't fall apart with a weight capacity over 4 pounds. So we told him that we couldn't do the price match, but we could offer him a discount for such a bulk purchase (25+) and he seemed satisfied with that. We told him the project would take about two months because, well, that's a lot of stuff to do and we aren't legally able to make copies of any legal documents so we had to individually make markers for each page in the book that had to be referenced to the original document.
So he came in that weekend, only three days later, and asked if they were ready. They obviously weren't. We had finished a grand total of four at that point and he got very upset because they weren't done (despite that we had told him it would take about two months). Having to calmly explain to him that we aren't able to perform miracles, he asked if he could split the project between different offices around town and of course we told him yes, if it would help him meet his deadline. So, he did that, and later in the day we get a call from one of the other locations asking if we gave a green light on price matching for such a bulk quantity and I just felt so annoyed with this customer at that point I told them no and I told them, "Don't offer a discount either, he's been railing us about the same shit."
Later that day he came by to pick up what had been completed, paid for it (after much arguing over our prices which he agreed to in the first place) and took the work somewhere else.
If these stories are about supposed to fake stories about physical confrontation, I don't actually have any stories like that. I can make one up though, if anyone wants to read it.
