Simple question here..I know it a harder subject to talk about because of people beliefs. A big part of this thread is for everyone to respect everyone's ideas. If you don't respect others idea,I will contact a mod and they can do what they wish. I'm simply making this to see everyone's idea. Don't like it,Then don't comment. My idea : If they wish to get married,Let them do it. People say it's a sin but so is getting a divorce,cussing,JUDGING and a lot of other things. The bad thing is,Most of the people complying about the legalize are the people who are the ones who say "This nation is going to hell..God wouldn't like this" Yet they are the ones doing drugs,divorcing,cussing and other things..but they are just as bad as the people getting married according to the people who are cussing and everything else..I don't know if this make sense to everyone but it does to me. What are your ideas?

Nothing is more ironic than seeing Christians support same sex marriage but not support abortions. The bible says that no sin is greater than another, so you're just as bad supporting same sex marriage as supporting abortions. Can't be a true christian and support these things, saying you can't judge. It's your job to be a light to the world and tell other people their sins are wrong.

I feel like its overhyped, I personally would be homosexual, but I'm not gonna judge anyone who is. I'm just sick and tired of hearing about it. I honestly don't care if anyone is gay, whatever. Glad this is finally over.
As for religions, majority of Churches (more than the ones you see on TV) are against the "God hates gays" mentality, but ya know, media will make anyone look bad.

I would only get a mod review it if it involved hate towards a member for their ideas. I made this because I wanna see what other points people have other than the ones in my life. Like I said in the thread,all ideas are respected and if they aren't and it involves hate,I would contact a mod. I'm just trying to see everyone point of view. Besides,everyone who knows me personally on here knows I am a overall good guy and respect everyone unless they give me a reason not to.

Until the 12th century marriage was not defined. Unions used to happen without any priests or god's rule.
Unions used to happen between same sex couples all the time was not until the Church came into play it was disallowed. Many cultures it was common place across the world.
Must be noted that was just the Roman catholic church stated the rules on what could and could not be allowed.
Church only added these rules in order to gain power, moving away from the message it was meant to be about good to see we're moving back to the right track again.
