Basically, in high school, me and this girl both had a 'thing' for each other and we both knew it, but we were both too shy to ever make it 'official'.
I moved cities a few years ago and I now live ~2 hours away from her. After I left, I never really spoke to her again, but she added me on Facebook yesterday, so of cause I accepted, and I sent her a message, pretty much just saying how I haven't seen her in ages, she replied and we started talking, just talking about the last 3 years etc.

Now, I can defiantly feel a spark between us, and honestly, she's extremely cute lol, and I would obviously like to talk more, but I really suck at small talk, and I hate having awkward situations haha

So I was thinking, would it be too early to ask if she has a boyfriend? She posted a photo like 2 monthes ago saying something about being single etc, but obviously that could've changed :p

Is it too early to ask if she has a boyfriend? And if not, how the fuck do I go about asking that without making it awkward between us?

Asking her if she has a boyfriend is not an awkward question :p It'd only be awkward if you made it awkward.

would it be better and easier for you to text and ask her that question or ask her face to face? lol

how about just asking " are you currently seeing any one at the moment?" it sounds more casual, being silent is more awkward then asking a question

Like I said, I live a couple hours away from her now, so we have only talked via text :p (obviously we used to see each other irl though) but if she IS single, and interested, then of cause I would go out of my way to see her :p

Told her that she was still beautiful, and that her boyfriend must be proud... She can either answer with "yea he is, thanks" etc. or "I don't have a boyfriend"
