Twenty years ago, the original PlayStation hit shelves in the US.
By today's standards, it was woefully underpowered - games had to make do with just two megabytes of memory (by comparison, today's smartphones have about a thousand times more) and a 33Mhz processor.
But the console - which cost an eye-watering $1100 when adjusted to today's prices - introduced games on CD, along with controllers that had dual joysticks and rumbled to provide tactile feedback.
To celebrate, the gamers at Sony have dug an original PlayStation out of the archives and given it an unboxing. Watch the proceedings lol.

Why can't they just release another batch of PS1-skinned PS4s.
I hate those asshats selling them for $1000-1500 :cry: Or, y'know, they should release remastered trilogy of Spyro, since he was more or less the PlayStation One's mascot.

You mean Crash right? I don't remember seeing spyro as a physical mascot.
