I stick with the fundamentals: pause repping, super sets, drop sets, to failure as a accent towards my sets. They intensify and shock the muscle and really give muscle depth and volume.
As for types of exercises I stick with the basics, but what I mention above really differs from a flat plateau workout to a destroyer if done right.
Personally, I work on my weak points first, including parts of the body and the muscles at that part; exp: upper chest, triceps, inner gastro(calf), so I can reach a equilibrium between muscles.
But all this won't count for if you don't have discipline or consistency and importantly hard work
