Just a little question to see what the community do!

When training in the gym or at home with Dumbbells, what routine do you have?
this is similar to my other post but with a twist!

do you work on certain muscles at certain points, or do you do full body workouts?
which do you think Is best to do.

Personally i I prefer to concentrate on certain parts of my body, but on another day I will put my focus onto my other muscles say Monday - Biceps/Triceps and Tuesday - Calfs/Quads

Day 1 = Chest and biceps and abs
Day 2 = Back and triceps and abs
Day 3 = Shoulders and legs and abs

Then I continue this cycle,

I do 5 sets of 8 reps for six weeks, then do 3 sets of 12 , 10 , 8 reps. On days I cant be bothered I just add some drop sets into the routine.

I have run PHAT several times, as well as body splits. I prefer a mix of strength/size every week. 5-6 days a week here, 2 of which are double days. I Started this journey about 5-6 years ago at 162lbs, now sitting at 231lbs.

And their is no reason to train abs if you do compound exercises. Deadlifts, squats, OHP, clean and jerk, etc...

Well over the past 10-15 years I've learned a few things and that is , everyone isn't the same, what might work great for one person might not never work great for me. I watched people, read every book, asked people and most importantly after years and years I learned its 75% mental and 25% physical. Where the mind will go the body will follow. But enough jibber I could go all day, best common advice is 4-5 max days in gym because your muscles don't grow in the gym they grow while resting. And don't be one of those people that goes to gym and spends 5 minutes on every machine working every muscle. And nutrition is 90% of it all. Stats = 6'4" 275-300 lbs depending 😯 and 12% bf

Monday- chest perky nips
Tuesday- back attack
Wednesday- armageddon (bi's and tri's)
Thursday- boulder shoulders
Friday- chest perky nips
Saturday- armageddon (bi's and tri's and light shoulders)
Sunday- legs and pegs

I do lots of supersets along with 1 or 2 compound exercises per muscle and 2 or 3 concentration exercises per muscle. And my nutrition is basically IIFYM and i just eat whenever i want throughout the day but most the time i fast cause i like intermittent fasting. Its easy for me to fast cause im in school from 7:45 to 3:16 which is long enough of a fast and i get home and have snack then workout then have a meal then do homework and after i have another meal.
I typically fast from 9pm to 4pm the next day which is 19 hours of fasting ad leaves 5 hours to get 2,400-2,600 cals and 150g protein. Pretty tough but fun stuffing my face with food cause im that type of person.

12% bf and 6'4 with 275 lbs of raw muscle?!! YOURE A MONSTER! You must look like The Rock/Dwayne Johnson or even The Hodgetwins. (Look them up on youtube)

Lol my wife says I have a small man syndrome because I always think I'm not big at all. I run about 260 pounds now because I feel better at that weight, when I used to run around 300 it was just too much I didn't sleep good and just felt like it was a big monkey on my back. I tried to add a few pics but site wouldn't let me.
