Well firstly I hope I spelt it rightSmile

An Example
of
Feminism:

A man gets raped by a lady and the punishment for a lady is less than a male conviction.
For example:
Male - 12 Years
Female - 4 Years

the reason for me choosing this topic to speak about as in the past I had read an article I am unable to find it now, but plastered all over the front page of a tabloid was something along the lines of
reduced sentence of rape just because she's a female

This makes me very angry because we are all the same, a crime is a crime make of female, there is no reason why the punishment should vary if you are male or female.

This may be sensitive to some readers, it's why in the title I added (Mature)

What do you think on feminism?

Honestly I hate feminists so much. Like they get me so pissed off. I can see why their is feminism in other countries like Africa or like china but why in USA. I'm not demeaning or discriminating or anything but Woman cannot do the same stuff that male can do and Vice versa thus why we are called men and woman. Also the rape thing, men aren't the only ones who rape people and feminist are fighting for equality right? why not Give it to them, Same years of prison. No hitting girls? Hit them because they are fighting for equality. If they say why did you hit a girl then say equality.

I hate feminism. The crux of their ideology is equality, yet it's quite the opposite when you look at their rhetoric and what they protest and support. As they say actions speak louder than words. If equality is the primary goal then you think that Feminist would drop feminism and adopt one of two things; Egalitarianism or Libertarianism. I much prefer the latter as the state doesn't enforce equality rather people uphold equality among themselves.

Trolling is a art
Legally in the United States, men and women,, just like races, are entirely equally. Again, that's from a textbook legal standpoint. So they are fighting the wrong fight. One of my favorites is the 76 cents on every dollar argument women make. Yet, when the stats are adjusted for whether the woman can perform the same job at the same quality and rate, the stats are more like women make 96 cents for every $1 a man makes, an almost non-existent difference.

As also mentioned in the thread, it's great because they argue for equality for all women, yet only in ways where it benefits them, they don't argue for equality in the negative aspects, they fight it.

I'm not against women trying to empower themselves. But a lot of the modern "feminists" are extremely flawed in their ideologies.

Men and women will never be equal.

"Men and women do think differently, at least where the anatomy of the brain is concerned, according to a new study.

The brain is made primarily of two different types of tissue, called gray matter and white matter. This new research reveals that men think more with their gray matter, and women think more with white. Researchers stressed that just because the two sexes think differently, this does not affect intellectual performance.

Psychology professor Richard Haier of the University of California, Irvine led the research along with colleagues from the University of New Mexico. Their findings show that in general, men have nearly 6.5 times the amount of gray matter related to general intelligence compared with women, whereas women have nearly 10 times the amount of white matter related to intelligence compared to men.

"These findings suggest that human evolution has created two different types of brains designed for equally intelligent behavior," said Haier, adding that, "by pinpointing these gender-based intelligence areas, the study has the potential to aid research on dementia and other cognitive-impairment diseases in the brain."

The results are detailed in the online version of the journal NeuroImage.

In human brains, gray matter represents information processing centers, whereas white matter works to network these processing centers.

The results from this study may help explain why men and women excel at different types of tasks, said co-author and neuropsychologist Rex Jung of the University of New Mexico. For example, men tend to do better with tasks requiring more localized processing, such as mathematics, Jung said, while women are better at integrating and assimilating information from distributed gray-matter regions of the brain, which aids language skills.

Scientists find it very interesting that while men and women use two very different activity centers and neurological pathways, men and women perform equally well on broad measures of cognitive ability, such as intelligence tests.

This research also gives insight to why different types of head injuries are more disastrous to one sex or the other. For example, in women 84 percent of gray matter regions and 86 percent of white matter regions involved in intellectual performance were located in the frontal lobes, whereas the percentages of these regions in a man's frontal lobes are 45 percent and zero, respectively. This matches up well with clinical data that shows frontal lobe damage in women to be much more destructive than the same type of damage in men.

Both Haier and Jung hope that this research will someday help doctors diagnose brain disorders in men and women earlier, as well as provide help designing more effective and precise treatments for brain damage."

That sounds like something feminist would say.

It's not feminism. That's exactly how congress put the ruling. It can be only be deemed if penetration in the oral, vaginal, or anal regions occur, meaning: only a guy or a girl-with-dildo can rape a guy. In legal terms, a woman giving a man a blowjob or having sex with his consent is not rape. In legal terms, a woman can hardly ever rape a man. This is feminism at its best. From a sociological and emotional viewpoint, it'd be rape, but not in the eyes of Congress. Of course, if alcohol or drugs are involved in the ordeal, it can be considered rape, as the individual would not have full cognitive sense of their situation or surroundings.

Wouldn't abortion in America be one of the highest points of feminism? The woman never has to tell her partner that she was pregnant, nor does she need her partner's consent to have the abortion. "Blah blah blah, it's the woman's body -- it should be her choice..." which is the stupidest comeback ever. It's as much the man's child as it is the woman's, but the man gets no say in whether his future blessing will be murdered? That's gotta be one of the hardest things to do to a guy: taking away his family. The issue isn't the abortion itself, but that it only requires the woman's agreement, and has no exception for 'Father's rights'. I could understand if it was just because of being only boyfriend/girlfriend, but when it comes to marriage, these things should be agreed upon by both the wife and husband. Sal

So much this. I agree the father should have a say in whether or not - if they're married - they get an abortion. But it is ironic that you never really hear feminist tout this ideal in their equality rants.

I don't think the father should have to stick around. Chances are if he wants to run when his girl gets pregnant.. He'd be a shit dad anyways.
