Im at a point where I really have to start watching what I eat and working out again. I gained a pretty decent amount of weight the past few months and Im about 6 foot 255 lbs. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a exercise schedule and what foods to eat. Im willing to start a strict eating schedule to become fit. Thanks

Hey mate. Just eat fruits, vegetable with pastas or rice and run for at least 30 minutes everyday. Do the plank and sit up and push up everyday. I lost the 10 pounds in first week it was great. Best luck.

Find your caloric maintenance level and subtract 500 or so calories from that and eat that amount along with healthy whole foods, HIIT training, and 99% of your drinks should be WATER!

Go to the gym regularly and ask the people there what plans you should do. Also eat very small, low calorie meals (rice, baked chicken, brocoli) and I suggest cutting stuff like sugar, etc.

While the gym will help lose weight and I do recommend getting a membership, the big part of losing weight is your diet.
The one big tip I can give you is drink water. Drink water religiously, only water for a few weeks. Then you can add juice/milk but if you stick strictly to water for a couple weeks you will def lose some weight.

I am about the same size as you. 6 months ago I was 6'1, approx 250lbs. I got down to 235 and then got a job working at a restaurant, so I get free drinks. I haven't changed my eating habits, but simply drinking much more Mtn Dew than I normally do, I am back up to 240 in a week of having the job, so my advice is, if you drink soda, cut it down to 1 a day, or none at all. It really does make a difference. Drink a lot of water and try to stay on your feet. If you are exercising, that helps a lot too, but you don't need to change dramatically if you don't mind the process being slow.

Download an app from the app store called "My net diary" you enter your goal weight and it has a massive database of foods in it you scan or enter the food and it records it all towards your daily intake that you need to meet plus gives you very helpful tips along the way i highly recommend it.

Ps. 225lb(100kg) for 6ft isn't that bad, just cut the junk food and exercise as much as possible

Carbs are our body's fuel source. In a caloric deficit, you should have at least 0.75 grams per body weight. Even 1 gram per body weight is good. No carbs means no energy
