Today Will Be Different
I don't particularly drive a truck, but a Toyota Land Cruiser so when it comes to lifts my options are literally limited to basically Old Man Emu. But if you're driving an American truck Rough Country has some good leveling, suspension, and body lifts from what I've heard.

Do a barrel roll!
I don't exactly have allot of experience in different brands but I built the lift for my truck, but the thing is with most trucks you can get up to a 4 inch lift before you have to spend allot of money unless you have a Chevy then it's gonna be expensive as **** lol but I have a dodge ram 1500 and I lifted it up 4 inches and it's perfect for off reading I have allot of height, it doesn't sound allot but if you see a truck with that much of a lift it looks good. It's not so high that you need a step but it's high enough were you gota jump a bit and 35 inch tires are the biggest for that lift because of clearance, but when you go through a trail you know you won't get stuck. And me personally I won't go any bigger because if you have anything bigger the 35's you need mud flaps.

Also to add a sweet look to your truck if you lift it paint your rear diff cover, because when people drive behind you the first thing they see is your rear axle and when you paint that red people stair lol and the point is to have people look and say that's a sick truck man

And rough country does look predy good

He could lift a c10 for dirt cheap and get some swappers off shitlist for nothin. But if he wants to really offroad a cherokee is the best starting platform

It really depends on how much you want to spend on a lift and if you want to buy it brand new. There's many name brands for lifts such as, Rancho, Rough Country and Rusty's, etc. If I were you I'd go with a suspension lift, not a body lift or block lift. Suspension lift just seems to be the best thing to do. Rough Country is a mid-class supplier and seems to get the most attention, but I've heard mixed comments about it. Rancho is one of the more expensive name brand's. You could specify what your truck is, but guessing it's a C10 and is it 4x4?

u dont wanna bushrun a brand new truck m8 too expensive if u wanna offroad go find a $1000 cherokee and put a small lift and tires on it. then u got a $2000 bush beater that u can literally take almost anywhere besides a deep mud pit or get one already done up. they are easy and cheap to work on too
