(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So before i get into detail, i just want to state that i dont want any hassle caused by this thread. Because some people might find a way to start it. But besides that i want to talk about, What has Christmas come to? Christmas used to be about gathering around family, talking about life, having a great time. But now it seems like Christmas is all about who has the biggest and most expensive gifts. I mean, kids that are born in 2015, they wont even know the true meaning of Christmas. I mean presents are nice, but it bothers me when you read online and hear it that kids cant wait to just play online on there new console. Like, is it not normal anymore to sit around with your family and have a great time? I dont know. What are your thoughts on this?

No.. it never. Christmas has always been about giving each other gifts. Even if you look back Saint Nick gave poor kids presents I believe.

I treat it like any other normal day except we have a massive dinner and exchange gifts.

Yes I understand that, but today everything is based of political shit now.

All these massive democratic(s) turning in to liberal(s). All of the fake conservatives. ISIS, growing so big to the point we won't be able to do a thing about it.

In today's society it's pretty, messed up.

People from the late 1700(s) and early 1800(s) like George Washington, Sam Adams, and Abraham Lincoln would get a good laugh at us.

Christmas without religion is simply a day to celebrate everyone surviving another year on this wild planet. I feel the same way about gifts and all, so when I have kids I'm going to make it a point to teach them the real meaning of Christmas, aside from that, what else can we really do?

I highly recommend removing George Washington and Samuel Adams from that last statement. Neither of which were around in the 1800s. Yeah, the 18th century but not so much the 19th century.

It's just a statement, but yet they will still take a good laugh at us.
