I think hard time is more likely to break you. I worked with juveniles for almost 13 years. The facility I worked at was immaculate and provided everything every child needed, but I believe when you're in a place like that, the biggest battle is with yourself. I can only speak for that particular centre though. I've seen some facilities I wouldn't hesitate to shutdown if given the power. Facilities that would only make keeping strong and standing up so much more difficult.
