Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my parents live in the middle of nowhere ( like Oklahoman panhandle nowhere) 1000 of acres of nothing. I was going to visit them( I live in Oklahoma City) and half of the trip is gravel road. I'm about 15 minutes away and I see a man walking down the road( I haven't even seen a car In 20 min). He ask me to stop so I do, then he ask me where the nearest gas station is. I pull out my map because there was no cellar data and I look for about 3 seconds I look back and HES GONE (this is Oklahoma flat no trees u can see for miles) I look under my car, behind my car EVEYWHERE, he'd vanished. My family wouldn't believe so I went to a church but they just gave me gibberish. I am so curios as to what happened to him? I even considering some kinda spirit? Time traveler? I know I sound crazy but I saw what I saw.

Now if you believe in the Paranormal like i do then what you might have seen was some sort of entity stuck in a sort of limbo where he presents himself in that same situation over and over again to "sensitive" people (people that are more in tune and prone to spiritual contact). Those kind of spirits sometimes don't even know that they're dead they just keep replaying that scenario over and over again.

One problem with that scenario, Jesse. An 'echo' ghost as I like to call them (that replay the same scene over and over) aren't sophisticated, and wouldn't be able to interact with the current timeframe. Could it have been paranormal? Sure. But it wouldn't be a replaying scene, and besides being a small town, the inhabitants would've surely heard stories of the walking man.

Yeah that's true. Who knows what he saw but it sure is interesting.

My theory is echo ghosts show up if they were killed too quickly to comprehend their death, like on a battlefield. Humorous story found on reddit one day about a guy who was driving at night through shit-town nowhere, and sees a girl running across the road after something, and she turns towards the car, and the guy brakes asap, but she seemed to vanish. Later on he found that it's happened to other drivers as well.

Yeah those kind of spirits usually come back because as you said they can't comprehend the fact that they're dead so they kind of just keep on going in a limbo or they come back because they were killed in the middle of something important in their life so they have a sort of unfinished business.

Bit disheartening that is Sal Seems like only way to move on would be having a medium make contact, but there's thousands upon thousands of bullshit hoaxers going around, even one popular hoax on national television. :(

Yeah that's the thing is trying to separate the real from the fakers and that's unfortunately not an easy thing to do. My personal favorite "Paranormal" type show is called Paranormal State and it's this team of Paranormal investigators from Penn State lead by Ryan Buell who made it his lifes mission to go into that field after he had a paranormal experience as a child. What makes it even more interesting is he had made contact with a certain spirit that called itself a certain name that starts with a "B" and not long after that he found out he had Cancer which thankfully he's managed to beat so far and continues to do his work but you can call it what you will coincidence or not that's really interesting. He's the nicest person i've ever seen doing that kind of work, you can tell he really cares about the people going through different paranormal things.

Yeah i've seen that a few times and don't think she really has any of the abilities she claims to have.
