I was going to visit them( I live in Oklahoma City) and half of the trip is gravel road. I'm about 15 minutes away and I see a man walking down the road( I haven't even seen a car In 20 min). He ask me to stop so I do, then he ask me where the nearest gas station is. I pull out my map because there was no cellar data and I look for about 3 seconds I look back and HES GONE (this is Oklahoma flat no trees u can see for miles) I look under my car, behind my car EVEYWHERE, he'd vanished. My family wouldn't believe so I went to a church but they just gave me gibberish. I am so curios as to what happened to him? I even considering some kinda spirit? Time traveler? I know I sound crazy but I saw what I saw.

I have some theories but I think regardless of what it might have been it has caused you to take a step back and think about life. You sought the advice of spiritual people, maybe you become more spiritual and a deeper person. Look at it in a positive way as a way to improve yourself to bring out the best qualities humans can have.

A teacher of mine lost her mother some time ago and claims she still sees her in the real world and in her dreams, her mother tries to talk to her and my teacher would wake up to hear whispers. Then my teacher went to that famous Long Island medium here in NYC and she told my teacher things about her mom that only my teacher knows and nobody else. Pretty sure not a scam
