A month ago I tried to kill myself and I only told her I was gonna do it so she called the cops and I got sent to the hospital and that sucked so I was pissed and didn't talk to her for 2 weeks cause I was trying to forget about her but then I was like fuck I really need her so I told her that and then she said I gotta work on myself first and she says she's got stuff to work on but said the whole girlfriend situation fucked her up mentally and is 100% over it.
Should I believe that? How do I bring it up without bringing it up...?

I have a friend that went though kinda the same thing (Only the girl wasn't lesbian). All I can tell you because of your situation right now you feel alone and stuck but I promise you later in life whether you get the girl or not your going to think "What the fuck was I thinking". As for trying to get the girl, My advice is to not better yourself just for her actually do it for you sake. If she does want to be with you, she'll acknowledge that your bettering yourself and want to be with you. Don't force it on her or else she'll only end up going with you for sympathy.
