I would mostly do multi tasking , school work .. msn and stuff... not that much gaming.

If you're doing alot of stuff you really need a good processor in your computer. They're not bad for what you're looking for, I think you could find better though. Also don't get anything that has vista *spits*.

Taking a look at it again. The first one you posted wit the turion processor is not all that bad. Would go for something like that for what you need it for.

If I was you I'd buy a desktop
The reasons are endless

1. Desktops are easily upgradeable
2. They are cheaper to buy or build
3. They are more practical and don't run on a battery

Those are just 3 of the main reasons

I don't see why anyone would want a laptop nowadays, unless you use tube a lot
You can buy a more powerful desktop, put it in the office, and one for home

I dont have an opinion on which laptop to buy but I will say that you are better off getting a £450 gaming desktop, it will be so much more powerful and wont rely on batteries. Unless you need a laptop to do work while you're traveling or something they are useless.

Lighten up he's only asking for a bit of advice. It's not like he's trying to sell us anything.
