(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I would like to start by saying I am not trying to be ignorant, or cold, I understand the devistation and loss of life in Haiti. If you have family there then I am very sorry for all of them. But how is what happened in Haiti more important to our govt then the victims of Katrina. I go to New Orleans alot and there are still houses with the number of dead paitned on the door. Our govt let people die in the sun on Interstate 90 just outside the Superdome waiting on aid. But we can get a ship (Red Cross "Comfort") with 500 nurses and doctors aboard to them in two days? Makes no sense to me. I know the US wants to be the "Big Brother" to every country so that we always have allies, but I find this distressing. WE have children not getting three meals a day, not going to school, being raised by "mom" because dad is either in another country fighting a war, or was killed there. Once agian I know people will flame me for this, but is my opinion.

Its weird how we pretty much ****ed over New Orleans, but we can find the money to help Hati. I think the goverment needs to help us out before we rush aid to another country.

I believe is some type of conspiracy, maybe they are trying to gain control of haiti without anyone knowing, and by helping over there, they can move US ARMY troops, and soon take over it, kinda like a Hitler act, but very stealthy.

That would be cool, and makes sense. I mean we did invade Haiti in the early 1900s. But why would normal people rally behind this? I mean, photobucket's first page is HELP HAITI, I mean...wtf? I could smell a conspiracy if it was all government aid but a LOT is coming from normal civilians. Probably becuase the media is shoving it down our throats.

It also pisses me off as well, and why would George Bush (he started the donation thing) care soo much about another country, when he never gave a shit about US.

He did. FEMA wasnt prepared to do its job, and somehow it ends up on Bush. He wasnt god you know:rolleyes: It was a lot of the US's fault for simply not caring

Not to mention probably only 10% of your donation actually gets donated, the company keeps the rest.

Its more than that.

People who own major websites are not normal citizens. They carry some-type of power for owning multi million dollar websites, I don't think photobucket is run by a normal person.

The local host radio, my school is putting TXT 90999 around school, its normal civilians.

Owners of multi million dollar websites have less power than you think. And yes, they are normal citizens like us.
