Its their life, let them do what they want, homophobes are like racists, their usualy assholes. But everyone has their opinion and although I may not agree with them, I acknowledge their right to Think what they believe, although that would not give them the right to tell gays that it is wrong. But unfortunatly A lot of people I know are totaly against it.

So if you heard somebody abusing a gay man because he was homosexual, you would still respect his opinion?

No... sorry I should of wrote it better, what I ment was that if someone was against gays (religon wise) then they have a right to believe that as its there culture and what they have been brought up to believe. I would not respect them or give them the right to go around shouting about how its wrong to be a homosexual. I hope that makes sence...

Yeah I get you, it is fair to give everybody a chance, but the ones who think they are right without giving others a chance can be annoying, like the guy I told to get educated ^^.

That's the role you take on as being a parent, your childrens beliefs reflect on your own. If you're against homosexual individuals and preach it to your kids, then they're more then likely to be the same way. If you're uncomfortable around homosexuals, you can very well pass those same feelings onto your offspring.

Child: Dad, why are those two men kissing?
Dad: Just like a man and a woman loving eachother, two men and two women can do the same thing.

It's not very hard to explain stuff like this to your children, as long as you don't try to shelter them from stuff like this and get them to keep an open mind, you've succeeded as a parent.
