Post: Does school detention do any good in high schools?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In my honest opinion, punishing a kid with detention won't do anything besides him increasing his anger or having that thought to befriend the teacher which will most likely result in more bad behavior. How about you guys?

I actually cried in the toilets before going to detention. Me sitting with the assholes who got there by fighting, bullying and all round cuntishness was absolutely absurd.

I always skipped which resulted in a day of in school suspension. Never did any good for me.

In High School? No. Maybe in lower grades it might scare them into trying not to get in trouble. But overall no because it just wastes everyone's time and not solving any actual problem.
