Most of us mod to make the game more fun. (some do it because they think there better then ever one) (witch there not). if they would take some of the mods and add them into the game it would be so much better.. plus we wouldn't have to hear all the OFW kids crying about our mods. (although it is fun to troll some kids). I just don't see why Rock-Star has to have a stick up there ass and be so strict about modders...

Cost would be astronomical, they build the game with certain parameters to maintain. Modding is based on tearing those parameters down and re-shaping them for fun. The servers would be shit so many fucking bugs or not enough mod compatibility either way Rock star would be responsible and completely liable for correcting the servers with a lot of fucking man time. In short it would be all bad and work for them and all we would do is add to their all ready frustrated workload. If you still don't see why modding can be counter-intuitive when it comes to game developers after the fact. Than you should try to make your modding a more communicable process and see how hard it is to get things to sync up and function to the point where it exceeds peoples expectations. Because any less is not good enough for global franchise, there not EA.
