This is working for Social Club and Steam versions.



- Cheat Engine
- Be in a crew (If you want to change Crew Tag)



- Open Cheat Engine
- Attach to GTA5 Process
- Change Value Type to String
- Search for your In-Game Name(Type it exactly as it appears in-game, case sensitive.)
- Click on one of the results, and then hold down CTRL+A. (Select all results.)
- Click the red arrow to move all results into the bottom box.
- Click one of them in the bottom box, and then once again, CTRL+A.
- Hold down CTRL and double click on one of the values.
- Change it to whatever you like.

To change crew tag, you must first be in a crew, then follow the same instructions as above, replacing your In-Game name, with your crew tag.

You can add the Rockstar Logo to your crew tag, by adding an "@" symbol to the front of it!

(In order for people to see the new name, you must switch lobbies.)

yeah just tried this out with my friend. I wish there was a way to change your username for the Social Club sadly there is not.

I said you have to change lobbies for others to see.



He was in your game when you changed it. You need to change it, switch to a different lobby, and invite him, then he will see it.
