Gotten Gains was first teased by Rockstar back in May. While this update will be available on all five platforms GTA 5 is on, it could be one of the last updates to arrive on Xbox 360 and PS3. During a Q&A session last month, Rockstar noted hardware limitations could prevent future content from arriving on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The first example of such is the Rockstar Editor which is only set to arrive on Xbox One and PS4.

It very well could be. It is kinda shitty for r* to throw the 360 and PS3 players under the buss like that. However, they are probably wanting to make their main focus on the Next gen consoles.

I remember reading about this when they started rolling it out for Next Gen consoles. The old hardware is holding them back from creating features.

Rockstar's updates are huge. GTA's updates are only about 150 MB and thats much for the PS3. And some of these Updates are over 1 GB and we are on patch 1.24 (1.27). Thats obvious that updates may not arrive to Ps3 and Xbox360. It's the Hardware , Ps3's are overheating already and buggy af when running the game , same with Xbox360

Rockstar might milk GTAV more with story dlc but...I doubt it!

Im on first gen slim 350GB no over heating!

It's a part 1 of 2 DLC, so 1 more update is coming. Also after that you may be correct.
