Just copy a 100% save on the profile and it will start up fine and you can go straight online

Also, how doesn't it work? What you may have to do is copy a savegame, load it with a clean game (no mods), then quit, install the mods, then try. Also you wont be able to load the save with the mods. You should be able to go online once you've done that though.
