You're saying two of the biggest companies in the world are out to get their customer base with a virus? That's like saying the government tells the truth. (ZING.) Neither of those have a virus. Chances are your computer already had it, you visited a site from the browser and got the virus, or you downloaded the [infected] browser from somewhere else.

Congratulations, you've eliminated one of many possible reasons it reported a trojan. Proof of that will still not prove it was from the browser. Here are some more possible reasons off the top of my head:

1. Your anti-virus is shit
2. Someone else is on your network and redirected your download
3. You downloaded it from a Google clone (Almost like a phishing site)
