(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just yesterday I found my internet blocked on my router because (I forgot what program its called) found illegal data being downloaded onto my computer. I had to agree to the terms which basically stated it was a warning or pay the fines.

I was curious has this happened to anyone here before? I believe it was because I had accidentally left my seeding on for 2 movies, but it mentioned the downloading which threw me off.

Currently I am taking it easy on torrents and going to stick with direct links.

Anyways, any advice from anyone or events such as this?

I use Virgin too and never had problem with them. They are one of the few ISPs that weren't caught handing over personal information on their customers to legal firms. Their fair usage is a pain in the ass, but I tend not to download anything during peak hours (10am-3pm, 4pm-9pm). They are bastards for adding caps which is my only complaint. I've never had a problem with torrents as I prefer direct download links. It just didn't seem worth the effort any more since the US movie and music industry were going after everything remotely connected to sharing illegal files.

30 programs is absoultely nothing compared to what some people download...

Gonna stop downloading torrents for now then, i'll stick to direct links.

im with sky, and for about 4 years I've been using torrents w.o any problems from them, u should switch isps to someone like sky since they really don't care about what we download. you should just use ip blocking programs IE peerblock, very similar to peer guardian

i use sky too and couldnt reccomend them enough! i get like 10MB down and near 1MB up

i also seed alot and have like 2:1 seed ratio on IPT and when i have like 1.5TB of stuff downloaded you know thats a lot of seeding
