(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 500K Plus vBux to who can answer. So on the surface, this question is pretty easy but let me explain everything else first. So recently, I had a video taken down for copyright, okay no big deal. Next, I submitted a DMCA Copyright Counter Notification, because the claim was bulls***. I waited four days and then today I got this email:

Dear Sir/Madam,
We will be commencing legal proceedings against the following for copyright infringement:
PERSONAL INFO WAS HERE
This will commence in 72 hours if this claim is not retracted and the video removed.
This is your official notice and warning of the commencement of these proceedings

Liberation Music

So my question is, what do I do specifically to retract the claim?

Well, first off, what did you upload? Music can't be re-uploaded. Maybe that's the reason.

Personally, I would see about getting in touch with them, to see if this claim is legit

I deleted the video from my channel and I was let off. I haven't had a second issue sence then, I would delete the video and edit it so you may use the video again,
If you have illegal music on there, take it off and do a voice over with The music and in the comment write music is purchased by me and then say no copywrite intended.
If you can't do the voice over have someone do it for you

Yeah it was music, is that why the notification was just about auto-declined?

I can't use it now because the video was a little under 2 Hours and I got a copyright strike. But if deleting the video will retract the claim, then thank you very much. I'll give you all vBux, because you were all so helpful.

Oh, that might have been why the video was flagged bcuz it was so long, but yes deleting the video should refrain them from getting into legit matters with you

I upload that length of video once a week on my channel, and its been the first time I've gotten this claim, and also I get many claims from the same company but this is the first one they've removed physically.

It was a very large mashup of songs. However the song they removed the video on wasn't in it.

With bigger companies like that, they have cms which tracks when some songs of theirs is used, and once they have that notification of it being used with consent, they can have it copyrighted so quick that you wouldn't even know what hit you :p

Well yeah, I'm just really worried because this is a legal matter, and could cost alot of money for a proper lawyer and to go to court. I'm trying to avoid this at all costs.
