(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 500K Plus vBux to who can answer. So on the surface, this question is pretty easy but let me explain everything else first. So recently, I had a video taken down for copyright, okay no big deal. Next, I submitted a DMCA Copyright Counter Notification, because the claim was bulls***. I waited four days and then today I got this email:

Dear Sir/Madam,
We will be commencing legal proceedings against the following for copyright infringement:
PERSONAL INFO WAS HERE
This will commence in 72 hours if this claim is not retracted and the video removed.
This is your official notice and warning of the commencement of these proceedings

Liberation Music

So my question is, what do I do specifically to retract the claim?

No worries. You did not make a large sum of money off the video or anything like that, so no legal battles there. Just learn from this experience and move on :p

Well that is what I'm thinking, but I've been doing hours of research and since it is still copyright, even though it was misidnetification, I can still be sued by their discretion if I don't "retract the claim and remove the video".

Remove the video if you already haven't done so. They very rarely sue. But remove just to be safe. Once that is done, nothing else more you can do :p

I did that hours ago. Its just worrisome! lol

Then you are good. No worries now.

I just got another email from Liberation after emailing them and they replyed, "
Well then you'll need to get the person who filled it out to retract it – our proceedings commence on Monday. Please retract your claim and remove the video. If they are there Monday our proceedings commence.

Regards

Liberation Music".
I've removed my video and they still use that phrase, "retracting a claim", which I've been trying to figure out for hours. Any idea?
