Don't say anything. You don't have to tell them anything. That's the problem with criminals these days. They start talking without a lawyer present who knows when the client starts talking he just ends up incriminating himself.
I've had a similar situation several years ago, there were no witnesses, except for me and the guy who got into the brawl. They were ready to lock us up. So I told the guy to deny it never happened to the judge, and I would say nothing happened either. Case was dropped just like that.
Don't say anything at all, the moment you start talking you just end up incriminating yourself. If they do come after you. Just get a lawyer, and it won't be a issue at all.
