Thank you for contacting us in regards to your Dungeon Defenders game having issues with the trophies loading. I can understand how frustrating this can be for you.

a few steps of troubleshooting that I can offer you:

- Delete the game data . Navigate to the "Game" folder and choose "Game Data Utlitly" chose the game you are having issues with (Dungeon defenders in this case) and press triangle. Choose delete. redownload the game

- Restore the file system:
- Access Safe Mode

-Turn off the PS3 by holding the Power button on the front till the Power light is red.
- Press and hold the Power button, you will then hear the first beep indicating that the PS3 is powering on.
- Continue to hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds and you will hear a second beep, indicating the video settings reset.
- Continue to hold the power button, and after about 5 more seconds you will hear the third beep, and the system will power off (the power light goes red).
- Release power button

- Press and hold the power button, you will hear the first beep, indicating the PS3 is powering on.
- Continue to hold the power button, and after approximately 5 seconds you will hear the 2nd beep for the video reset.
- Continue to hold the power button, and after 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release the power button.

If you succeeded in activating SAFE MODE, you will see the message on the screen saying, “Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button”. When you see this message, connect a USB cable to the controller and to the PS3 and press the PS button to display the safe mode menu.

AT this point I would like you to choose option #3 "restore File system". This option will repair any issues with your hard disk drive's file system (do not worry no data will be lost from this process)
- follow the onscreen instructions to restore the file system.
- The system will automatically reboot once its done restoring.

If this does not work your next step is to restore the PS3 system to its factory defaults. This will delete all data on your system, so you may want to backup your files first:

The PS3 system's Backup Utility feature can be used to create a back-up of all data from the PS3 system's Hard Disk Drive (HDD) on a removable storage media (such as, USB storage device, MemoryStick™, SD Memory Card, or CompactFlash®). This feature can also be used to restore data that has already been backed up.

The PS3 requires that removable storage media be formatted as FAT32.

Keep in mind some data cannot be backed up such as:

- Digital Right Management (DRM)
- PlayStation® format software game data
- PlayStation®2 format software game data
- PlayStation®3 format software Game Save Data flagged as un-exportable
- Trophy data, trophy data is saved onto your PlayStation Network account
Please note that, with the exception of videos, content purchased from the PlayStation®Store can be re-downloaded from the PlayStation®Network download list and does not need to be backed up.

- To access the Backup Data Utility please follow these steps:

- Navigate to "Settings" -> "System Settings" -> "backup Data Utility"
- Choose Backup
- Make sure the external storage device has enough space to store all the data from your PS3 system.
Note: Back-ups cannot be made to CD-R or other optical disc media.

Once you have all your data backed up follow these steps:

-Navigate to "Settings" -> "System Settings" -> "Restore PS3 system"

If this step does not work, then your system will need to come in for service. To be able to set your system up for service you can do it in one two ways either the web site here:

Ok so I've encountered a particular issue regarding PSN+ Cloud storage and the using of another players saves to finish their trophies. I've had this happened over 4 times now. I am not aware if anyone knows this or not so I felt like posting this bit of information:

1. If you download their save (assuming you are both from the same region), it is more than likely that you will need to "activate" one of their available slots for the save to even work. This will account for 75% of my encounters lately. Only 1 time has this not been tried, so I can't confirm that it is a perfect method for getting some of the saves to work.

2. When uploading to someone's cloud storage, you may encounted a little pain in the a*s error (I think it is like 802160009 or something similar). To correct this error, you must load up and play the game while logged onto the person's psn account and create a autosave (for some games such as pacman) or even another save file. This will ALWAYS correct that error.

Again, not sure if anyone was aware of it or not, so I wanted to post that bit of info. Since the auto-upload feature was introduced, there have been so many errors getting saves downloaded or uploaded properly. Just passing on some hard earned experience Smile

I've never heard of an activation slot being required to download a file from someone's PS+ Cloud. Strangely enough, I've never heard of anyone having troubles like this with their own accounts either so perhaps it's a new thing Sony threw in. As for uploads, it's always been like that. I'm just glad that's an easy fix because it's good to be able to provide people with a complete save or more important, a save they may be able to work on themselves.

You need to activate a slot to use cloud saves? When I did Mystic's Uncharted 3 I'm pretty sure I didn't activate a slot on his account...

I can confirm Batman: Arkham City does require you to activate a slot in order for the save to be pulled from cloud. If you don't activate the slot, the save will "appear" there but it is a completely blank save slot.

It could only be a US issue or with particular games. I can confirm 100% if you don't activate a person's slot to use their Batman: AC saves, then the save is rendered useless and blank.

I guess it's good I no longer PS+ as I'd rather have my slot than risk someone "accidentally" forgetting to deactivate when done. Arkham City was a game I needed help on but I emailed my save to a friend so slot wasn't needed. Could be worth making a list of games that require the slot otherwise you'd never know what people are stealing off your account under the guise of needing a save.
