I was browsing through PSNProfiles and started to notice alot of our gamertags appearing for 'Fastest to achieve X Plat' on games like Sacred 2, RAGE, R3, SF4, GT5 and so on. Obviously CFW but I'm interested to know where people stand with this now that we're so far down the line of new firmware. Is it safe for me (my account rather) to start buying CFW platinums. I mean, I'm not going to buy it and then it doesn't add % to my account, or has platinum unlocked but not 5 other trophies (On YGC.net this happens I think, it shows plat unlocked but other trophies missing) and what problem people have had with CFW platinums being synced. I didn't want to turn to the darkside, but I figure if people are hacking entire plats of games like Street Fighter 4 and GT5, why should I spend hundreds of hours mastering the game and then someone achieve the exact same within minutes (with no repercussions) I realise there is the skill & self-satisfaction factor you get from doing it, but c'mon, really? With a possible GT5, SSF4, SF4, MvC3, MK vs DC, R3 plats all looming in the hacked section I'm seriously considering going all out on CFW purchases. Unless some of you give other opinions on this...

but look at the bright side , you have enjoyed the game through while them didn't =D
my opinion is no , Do it the hard way unless if the game online server are closed .

It's not worth the risk. The more trophy hacking gets done, the sooner Sony will clamp down. Plus we don't really know what Sony are doing about CFW accounts anyway. They could still be banning them.

i have been seeing that people with cfw are starting to get removed from trophy leaderboards...

MAZoony is suppose to be like rank 18 in the world he is no longer on the leaderboard there is someone else
same with some other members from this site.
If your going to get cfw, then whats the point of collecting trophies? its not like you actually earned the trophies so i don't see how you could feel accomplished

I've seen Mazony is still on PSNprofiles, but all it really takes is one person to be annoyed at you for some reason and bang, these sites will start to blacklist you because of it. Hacked trophies may increase your percentage, but now I've got over 60 plats, I'm regretting the ones I did instaplat (like Wet, LBP2, Fuel, SOCOM). Better to glitch something unnoticeable like the one trophy in a game that ****s you over than just hacking everything all over.

Yeah, I noticed that.
I don't see mazony in leaderboard anymore .
