Here, let me fix that for you:

"Text sometimes helps fill space that seems empty." It doesn't work all the time. Check any pro GFX'ers tags, I doubt you'll find text in them half the time.

Not all, I do agree with that. Yet most pro gfxer would still tag their work with a watermark of some sort just as proof that it is theirs, even if they do keep the psd as proof.

Still, I'm hassling ganja about his text because he claims it kills his sigs. The reason it's killing his sigs is because he doesn't work on his text skills.

First off, everyone should keep all of their PSDs.

Second, if you go to an actual GFX forum, not a general forum like NGU, you'll see that most pro GFXers don't feel the need to watermark their stuff. Because no one is going to steal it, because everyone knows who it belongs to.

I don't even consider NGU a gfx forum. I used to frequent gamerenders for awhile, until inactivity. There you will find some pros, probably some of the best(or you'd used to). Most did tag their stuff. Just because everyone on one forum knows who it belongs to, doesn't mean people from another forum know who it belongs to. I could easily take ganja's sig, throw my name on it, and claim it as my own on another forum.

Hell, check deviantart. Most people on there tag, text, watermark, whatever their work.

Can't say I do, sorry. I was only there for a few months between '06-'07. I believe I still have a bronze account on that site still, heard they are trying to bring the site back to flourish.
