more details please. what capture device are you using? is it HD? do you have other programs running when you record or playback the video?

HD PVR, yes HD, I had youtube and NGU running ill watch it again with nothing running, but when i record you can see its clearly not lagging but you play it over and it lags :S

This happens with my dazzle when rendered into to FAKE hd lol it may just be your computer not capable of playing HD or something if you upload it to youtube it should be fine.

May be that your computer was running slowly when recording, i don't really know about capture cards, have you tried outputting as a different file?

Your PC may not be powerful enough to playback HD files smoothly. Try playing the video file in another video player. I use VLC (it plays everything)

you need to close out of everything on your computer otherwise your computer will have a harder time recording and you'll drop frames and lose quality
