Post: My C4D Project - Family Guy

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I've seen that quite a lot of you are familiar with C4D, and I'm in a class for 3D drafting that uses it, so I thought I'd share what I'm making with you guys.

Our assignment is to make a model of whatever we'd like, and it will be graded on creativity and usage of the basic skills we've learned throughout the year so far.

I chose to make my project a fly through of the exterior and interior of the house from Family Guy. Here's what I have so far as of 1/13/11 over 4 classes:

I know it does not have anything on the interior, It does not have shadowing or lighting, and I'd eventually like to make surrounding scenery and a backdrop and sky.

For the final project, I'm going to make the camera start from the outside, fly into the house and take a virtual tour of the griffin house.

Here's what I have so far: (keep in mind I'm nowhere close to finished)

Once again sorry for it being so dark, I don't have lighting in it yet, and it only renders light to what you're directly facing when it's rendered if you don't have lighting

I know for a fact I'm going to re-create their living room, and I'm considering making a model of Peter Griffin in the living room watching TV as it flies through.

I would like your opinions on it so far, and maybe tell me what you would like to see in it as well and if it's a good idea I will gladly include it. Maybe even write your name on the side of a wall so as it flies through you can see it for a brief second off to the side Happy

Anyways guys, let me know what you think Smile

I do plan on finding a career having to do with either graphic design or video editing. 3D modeling is fun, but it doesn't appeal to me as much as PS does. Lol I made like 95% of this so far with only the cube shape so it's pretty basic.

Well now since I know your game plan, I'll just wrap a rubber band around my nuts and let them lose blood circulation and have them fall off before you get to me.

You shall and will show me the end result.

And model of Peter while it flies through will be so epic. Cool Man (aka Tustin)

I would really like to see the finished result. :embarrassed:

Haha I don't know if I'm going to do the upstairs. I was thinking just modeling the kitchen and the living room. I could possibly do one room upstairs though if time allows me
