If your trying to get a GSC patch online with friends and such you won't be able to, you must bypass for that. In this case, with a jailbroken PS3, once you move the patch, you won't need to bypass but your friend will have to in order to connect to you. Although using CFG is not as nice, you still can connect to your friends and enjoy online. Send me a personal message if you need help with anything related to this, I can most likely help you.
