Well there was a comment about this and someone else disagreed. I'm not going to make the decision on personal opinion so I am making this thread. Feel free to post your opinions.

Another thing is a lot of you think they don't get a reward, if someone wins SOTW they get 100 rep and Points and the runner up gets 50 rep and points. I asked this because people get rep in the entries thread when there is already rep for the winner. I am in favor of removing it but its up to the community.

Graphics are a form of expressing yourself, I feel if they remove the reputation bonus from SOTW, then they might as well remove it from TOTW as well. This is coming from someone who isn't biased because I enter into the SOTW competitions or anything by the way. Overall they might as well keep it.

Oh yes another thing a prize for sotw is rep for the winner so repping people that post is kind of taking the prize from the winner

Definitely get rid of the rep but keep the like button. The like button shows you "like" the post, I don't think any extra rep is needed when you get 100 if you win.

I don't think it should be removed entirely, after all, it's a competition and if there's no prize or one worth entering for then whats the point in entering right? Generally, they put a lot of time and effort in their entries and they deserve some sort of prize. If anything, then half it. 50 Rep for the winner, 25 for runner up and a larger amount of vBux/Points.

The current system is 150 rep and 300k vbux or something around that anyway so yeah there is a prize
