(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, currently I can only get one of these. My monitor I'm using is actually a 32" 60hz TV and I think it's to big for the range I'm sitting at. However, the sound and mic I'm using isn't so good either.

So can anyone suggest wether I get the BenQ XL2411T 144hz Gaming monitor or the Astro A50's

And yes, I have a good gpu to handle 100 FPS+

Thanks

The question is, which can you do without the longest for? Me personally I'd go with the monitor before getting a headset because the particular monitor you have is just way too huge no matter the distance imo.

I agree with Ruth, I would go with the monitor, it would do you best.

Same here, like there are things that I need, then there are things that I want. Then it just becomes a pain in the ass to decide between the two of them. :(

Monitor monitor monitor monitor monitor. I have it and it's very good, however if you're not getting 120-144FPS it may be a waste. In that case maybe an SSD or some good headphones would be a better purchase.

Astro A40s do not possess good audio quality at all. The only thing they do to make them so expensive is boost the levels of footsteps to stupidly high levels to give you a competitive advantage. You're better off with some good, regular stereo headphones (for specifics I suggest going to /r/audiophile on Reddit).

Well, I might go with the monitor then.

My setup is:
3570k
Noctua NH-d14
AMD Radeon 7970 Ghz
128GB SSD
2TB Hard Drive
Asrock z77 extreme4

Yeah I would go with the monitor. And if you ever get the money for some headphones I'd pick up some Audio Technica AD700s off of Amazon. They've been on sale for like $99 instead of the retail $250 for some time now.

I'm actually going to go with the Benq XL2420T now, since the other one doesn't have a DisplayPort and it only has a Dual DVI-I not a Dual DVI-D. So I'm just going to get the adapter mini display port to display port and buy a display port cable to plug into that. I'm fairly sure it will still give me 120hz? Can you confirm?
