(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, currently I can only get one of these. My monitor I'm using is actually a 32" 60hz TV and I think it's to big for the range I'm sitting at. However, the sound and mic I'm using isn't so good either.

So can anyone suggest wether I get the BenQ XL2411T 144hz Gaming monitor or the Astro A50's

And yes, I have a good gpu to handle 100 FPS+

Thanks

7.1 is pointless in headphones. They have to cram all the drivers into such a tight space meaning you suffer with audio quality, and positional audio is already easily achieved with regular stereo headphones anyway.

Good stereo headphones are always preferred in my opinion.

This is the main reason why I refuse to buy a new pair of Trittons or Astros. I'd prefer a pair of Audio Technicas or Sennheisers.

Wait so the monitor I want has a Dual Link DVI-D Adapter, now my GPU has a Dual Link DVI-I. As my understanding, the cable that comes with it Dual Link DVI-D will fit inside the DVI-I Port on my GPU?

I'm 99% sure it will.

I would suggest trying to get a monitor with a mini DP output though. Most video card have at least two of those, they're very powerful (compared to say HDMI or DVI Single) and you'll run into less issues like I have if you try to go multi-monitor in the future.

Personally from what I heard Astro's are way too overpriced.

I would go with Logitech kinda stuff. They have cheap headsets which are just as good or better. Personally I use the Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset and I'm very happy with it. Go for the monitor.

Seriously, go with the BenQ. If you get the Astro A50's instead, you will regret it. If you don't want the BenQ and want the headsets, don;t get the Astro A50's, get the Astro A40's. The Astro A50's stuff up all the time. I have one from experience. The mic keeps fucking up and the sound of the game keeps fucking up. You can't hear a fucking thing. Trust me, get the AStro A40's or the BenQ. But for now, I think get the BenQ because it helps you more with your gaming experience better than with a headset. Get the headset later. Monitors are more important than headsets Happy
