No. As with most laptops the graphics will be seriously lacking.

The graphics card will be fine with the next round of games just not the next.
Also good comp besides the windows 8 part.. If I was you I'd down grade it :/ IMO

You're wrong. The 710M is barely even more powerful than the integrated graphics on my CPU.

Today Will Be Different
It will run majority of games on medium/high range. However laptops aren't really a good choice when it comes to gaming. You could build a really good gaming computer for about the same price or less, depending on which way you go processor wise.

But you don't want to have a really good video card, then a super shitty cpu because it would just be a bottleneck. Ultimately choose what you would feel more comfortable using but keep specs in mind. Me personally, I highly recommend a rig/desktop over a laptop especially for gaming.

At 1280x720 it will only run demanding games on low at 30FPS. I guarantee it.

First of all, what's the video card? The model of your premade laptop tells me nothing. Secondly, also, what games? Thirdly, please be more specific with the resolution than 'true HD'. That's just a marketing term that could mean any number of things.
