I have a mac and a PC and the mac is good for music development and editing photos and movies and also creating logos with photoshop, but I need a PC for all the PS3 modding applications. None of the programs will work on mac, even if you used wine and winebottler or not, they rarely work. You could use bootcamp and run windows and mac but then that is paying like $1400 for a mac to just use windows.

I will just say, I bought my Mac (2.4 Ghz processor, 512 mb Graphics Card and 4 gb of RAM) for over $1400 (Australia)
I bought my PC (3.9 Ghz processor, 1.5 gb GPU and 4 gb of RAM) for $600 (Australia)

Both good computer, just got different uses for both of them

Just saying a "Mac" or "Toshiba" is stupid. You need to give us the model of the Toshiba laptop and the Macbook model too. I'm getting a Macbook Pro Retina 13". It's expensive but I think it's a great product.
