(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am new to this and after a couple days of research I built this You must login or register to view this content. I'd like to know your guys thoughts on this build and if there's something u would change or a better part for the same price ? I'm planning on using it for school and gaming my budget is 1800 and yes I know there's no reason for i7 since i5 works perfectly for today's games but I just want the best possible parts without really over going 1800

Resolution 1080p or 1440p?
Budget :p
What you want to ask is what do you want your PC to do and at what price. i7 for gaming is bit like buying a 4x4 because you get some ice once a year live in the city and only take it to the shops.
Comparing to the build I made early for shits and giggles mine comes in at around $780

For that price you can build a system and have a good display/keyboard and mouse.

Here are the best parts
CPU I5 [K CPUs mean you want to overclock it]
ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
8Gb RAM 1600Hz
SDD 120Gb or 240Gb and HDD
GPU 280 or 970
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX PSU

For your price point you can get a great GPU,PSU and CPU. Reuse the PSU when you upgrade and could even reuse most of the parts.
