Fx 8350 black edition 64 bit
Power supply is a coolermaster rs700-acabb1 b series b700 v2
My os is windows 10 running on 32 with a 64 bit based processor
Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-78LMT-usb3

What motherboard do you have now? I'd imagine a 970 Or a 990fx

OP has a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3.

@OP; It shouldn't be your motherboard that's preventing you from running a 64-bit OS. The only thing that has control over whether you can/cannot install 32-bit/64-bit version of Windows is the CPU.

The OS doesn't choose which bit it runs at. You're running a 32-bit version of Windows 10 because you installed the 32-bit version. Did you try installing the 64-bit version?

To install Windows 10, you need PAE, NX, and SSE2, which your CPU does have. NX is probably disabled. It should be enabled by default, but it's better to double check. Go into your BIOS and look for a setting that has something to do with NX.

Also check to see if your BIOS is updated.
