Basically you go to the You must login or register to view this content. and click my soldier>Veteran.
Then you will have to login with your EA account linked to your gamertag/PSN (Assuming you've already done so).
Then it should automatically detect Battlefield games you've played, If not you can add them manually.

This is how I got the M1 Garand while the site is down.

Well a couple days ago i signed on and it said "congrats for being a veteran" so it must have detected them automatically or something as i already have my stuff linked to my EA account

This is weird, whenever i login to the battlefield website, it logs in, and then goes to a plain blank white page without it loading anything, anyone know why?

I didn't play any other battlefield games other than this one and BFBC1 (Which doesn't count towards veteran status), but thanks for the information.

BC1 counts and also if you don't have any other games just make a Battlefield Heroes account and it will automatically be detected.

When I go to put in the games manually I try to click on one to highlight/select it and nothing happens, anyone?

I saw a post on their forums where BFBC1 (360 PC and PS3) did NOT count towards veteran status.

Link me to the Battlefield Hero one. I'll try again. Although I've heard people CLAIM that you CAN get the M1 WITHOUT having veteran status.

ALSO be forewarned the M1 grand kills count as Thompson kills, so the award for getting all weapon stars is here by unattainable.
