The games are being developed by Sumo Digital, one of the UK's best game designers. Stories and scripts are from Phil Ford (co-writer Doctor Who 'Waters of Mars'Winky Winky and James Moran (Severance, Torchwood Children of Earth). The project has been commissioned for BBC Online by the Vision Multiplatform team, headed up by Simon Nelson, and is being driven by BBC Wales Interactive.
Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have been digitally recreated in-game, and have provided full voice-overs. Music has been provided by TV series' composer Murray Gold. An additional cast will portray original characters and classic enemies.

"Doctor Who: The Adventure Games will offer the chance for Doctor Who fans to visit places they've only dreamed of, facing off against monsters they've previously had to imagine," concludes Anwen Aspden, Executive Producer, BBC Wales Online. "Players will visit places which have never been shown on television - and these will go on to define the look and feel of future TV episodes."

Don't expect any major gaming break-throughs here - being a free download, it'll most likely be a pretty poor game in general, but it's about time they had a crack, I always though the series would make a great game. But on the bright side, you don't have to pay for it, if it's a failure!

Looks like the gayest thing I've ever seen :p And I don't dislike Dr. Who, to be perfectly honest. But look at the graphics, they're not going to improve with the final release of the game, the developer is just going to rush it completely to get it out while the initial rush of "Dr. Who mania!" is around.
