Despite the recent Infinity Ward / Activision drama, Modern Warfare 2 continues to sell in ridiculous numbers, recently moving into 2nd place of the best selling games of all time. (Not copies sold, but the amount of money made). According to the NPD Market Research Group, videogames sales increased by 6%, mainly due to the released of MW2, although no exact numbers have been released. It took the game just over a month to reach No.2, but the top spot will be much harder to achieve. Currently held by the Wii Play, with nearly 60 million sold, as the game has been bundled in with every Wii controller sold, so you could say it doesn't 'count'.

wow but the wii play comes with the wii and i think most of us remember when the wii came out
