Well then, I know the majority of you are pretty angry at Infinity Ward for delaying PS3 DLC another couple days, especially after they made PS3 users wait an extra month for it anyway.
However, before you whip out your flame suits and go on a verbal rampage, you need to understand that the blame does not actually lie with Infinity Ward. It's Sony's decision.
The reason for this is that Microsoft updates the Xbox Live Marketplace on every Tuesday and Wednesday, while the Playstation Network updates on Thursday's, causing PS3 users to get their downloadable content later than Xbox. So, understandably, Sony want to be fair to their fans by having the PSN store update earlier, so they can become even with Microsoft.
Now, the reason the 'Modern Warfare 2' DLC is pushed back into a whole other week is because of the date change for the PSN network updates. Also, you have to take into account the fact that Microsoft payed Activision (who own Infinity Ward) to get their downloadable content a full month earlier. So, bringing the DLC out two days before the end of April wouldn't be a full month, would it? This leaves Sony with no alternative choice but to bring it out the Tuesday after that, solely to stop any controversy with Microsoft.
They want to see how many people download the game first on xboxlive before they sell it to PSN to see if they get more and more people buying it and Btw I think some of the maps are gettin boring already such as Bailout because of all the campers and while you start off in the very beggining of SnD you get noob toobers killing the whole team in like one shot. ...
