The list includes senior designers Mohammad Alavi, Chad Grenier, Brent McLeod, Charlie Wiederhold, along with programmer Chris Lambert and designer Jason McCord. By my count that leaves the total count at 19 since the start of the entire fiasco, when Jason West and Vince Zampella were fired by Activision.
It has also been confirmed that 7 of the developers that have already left Infinity Ward are jumping ship to West and Zampella's new studio, Respawn Entertainment.
- Todd Alderman, lead designer on Modern Warfare 2
- Mackey McCandlish, lead designer on Modern Warfare 2
- Mark Grisby, lead animator on Modern Warfare 2
- John Paul Messerly, lead animator on Modern Warfare 2
- Chris Cherubini, lead environmental artist on Modern Warfare 2
- Rayme C. Vinson, software engineer on Modern Warfare 2
- Jon Shiring, programmer on Modern Warfare 2
Sadly, this probably won't make any difference to the regular gamer, who won't be aware of this drama when a final product is released, and as Broussard said himself, ”the heart and soul that created it is leaving the building and that has long term effects.” Again, this leads to further set backs on the creation of Modern Warfare 3.
