The team of researchers from the Netherlands encourage parents to allow their children to play these first/third person shooter games, and even recommend that they should be installed into nursing homes.
According to these new studies, video games improve natural reflexes, making players able to switch between different tasks in the real world. Playing video games as a child makes it easier for them to cope in a fast past job. But not only are games good for children, elderly people can also benefit from playing games. It can stimulate parts of the brain which may not be used in their old age, and can prevent some brain difficulties.
