My favorites:

Assault: AN-94 Akaban - since the m16 is getting patched, and this will get its range increased, this will surpass all the other assault rifles

Engineer: XM8 Compact - I haven't unlocked all the SMGs, so I don't know that this is the best. But compared to other SMGs, it has longer range and great damage.

Medic: M60 - This gun is great paired with marksman training. Don't call me a noob for using it, the other LMGs are just as good if you get used to them, such as I also love the XM8 LMG with magnum ammo and LW pack.

Recon: GOL - Hands down, the best sniper for general purpose. It is pinpoint accurate with nearly no bullet drop. Add magnum ammo, and it is often a kill on any body part, and has even less bullet drop. The GOL also has faster reload and less between shot delay than the M95.

Shotgun: 870 Combat - With Slugs and Magnum ammo, this sucker is like a Sniper Rifle with no scope on it. The crosshair is great when aiming in and it is almost always a 1 shot kill.

Pistol: M1911 - This pistol has great range and power, average fire rate, and a slightly below average clip size. It outclasses all other pistols but the REX in power, but severely beats the REX in fire rate.
