After reports that a 3rd Manhunt game was to be developed exclusively for the PS3, developer Take Two has said no, despite the game reaching story and concept art level.

Obviously, this is a shame for fans of the series, but on the other hand, a joy for the many critics of the game, condemning it as far too excessive with it's violent and graphic gameplay. Rockstar was planning to in-corporate the new Playstation Move controller with the game.

This isn't a definite no - there are people at Rockstar who do indeed, want this game made, so don't be surprised if you see plans for Manhunt 3 in the future, but for now, this is a non-starter.
