Chief Executive Officer of Activision, Mike Griffith (shown above), resigned recently from both of his positions at the company; CEO and Activision Publishing President.

He will however, remain at Activision Blizzard, a separate branch of the company, until his 12 month contract expires. What happens after that is unknown, and he will have to discuss with his superiors whether a new contract will be signed. His annual salary will be $250,000( not including bonuses), which I'm sure he will be able to cope with :p

His resignation may be linked with other recent events at the company, including: Infinity Ward suing Activision for up to $150,000,000, as well as Infinity ward being "cut loose", but anything at this stage is purely speculation.

I'm not new to this
They deserved that. It was stupid move to fire the makers of the most popular game in the US, possibly the world... Well, at least they have Guitar Hero XD

And since the new studio is with EA, maybe they will have dedicated servers.. I just feel sorry for Treyarch, they will have to deal with the crappy servers and Activision.

i dont really know if you all get it or not but if activison falls apart you can kiss COD goodbye and if IW wins all that money you can say goodbye to Activision and COD and hope that EA has them put out a good game which they probably wont b/c MW2 was a huge fail thats why they are all out of a job i wouldn't buy another game that they made agian
