Alright guys, so now, everything that I have previously told you about has been solidified to some extent. We now have a great deal of new and exciting screen shots, some of which show off the new additions to the game such as the "Companion Wheel".

Let us get the basics down first:

The game is taking place in New Vegas, and you are there to basically "kick ass, and run around the desert with your wolf-pack throughout New Vegas". Also, New Vegas is is inhabited by warring factions, which will likely play a large role in the decision-making process throughout the game.

OSX: I'm guessing throughout this game you are going to have quite a few companions, considering the implementation of the Companion Wheel, and the above explanation of what we'll be doing in this title.

If you were someone who found Fallout 3 to be a bit... dull, then you certainly will be pleased with New Vegas, as you will be able to explore the New Vegas strip, which is, according to my sources, a very "bustling" place. Of course, considering it is a Fallout game, you can still expect plenty of wasteland to explore.

OSX: There are a couple of screen shots that might help you depict what the New Vegas Strip looks like.

Also, the Hoover Dam will be present, which will be used "to break up the land".

OSX: "Break up the land" is still unclear to me. It could mean the transition from desert-like land to another type of land (ex. forest), or it could literally mean "break up the land" in the sense that it is likely destroyed to some extent, and dividing two pieces of land.

I think you'll all be pleased to hear that the melee system has been improved in Fallout: New Vegas. No longer will you simply have to beat someone repeatedly with a stick until they die, but there will be special moves, some of which are weapon-specific. For instance, if you are wielding a golf club, you can hit the club in a style as if you were playing golf.

OSX: I'm definitely excited about this. This will give the developers some new opportunities for creativity. Hopefully we'll see a wider variety of melee weapons to enjoy!

Next, I think many of you will be interested in the new "V.A.T.S", because you now no longer have to (but I believe you can if you'd like) pause when entering V.A.T.S. The process of using it has remained the same, but it has been improved in a way so that you can use it in real-time, making it both more realistic, but certainly more difficult.

OSX: I was never a big user of this feature, as I never really liked it. I think the implementation of real-time will help me to use it more.

Weapon customization is also coming around this time, and now you're actually be able to view your changes to a better extent. From adding scopes, extra magazines, and so on, all your changes will reflect on your weapon.

OSX: Definitely exciting for me, as I always get disappointed when I make a customization, and it does not reflect on the weapon.

Now, I'll leave you with plenty of screen shots!

This may sound a little insane, but I am actually looking forward to this game a lot more than Black Ops. Don't get me wrong, I absolutley love the Call of Duty Series(Who dosn't?), But I actually couldn't wait to go home almost everyday for about a month, to go and play Fallout 3.

In an unrelated note to that, Thanks for the update Schaffin.
